Samuel Herb is a singer/songwriter originally from Jacksonville, FL. He decided to make the move to Nashville in 2016, where he pursued Americana music. He released his debut single, “Dirty.” which made it to the Top 10 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart and has been streamed almost 40,000 times in over 50 countries.
“Waffle House,” is basically a song about infidelity and judging by the intro, is a sad song. This song isn’t heavily produced but I believe it works in this case. There is a certain charm about his vocals and hearing this story of a song. His voice is super strong and is made for this type of music. It’s such a catchy release.
I think everyone can relate to this song, unfortunately. You will catch yourself singing this song over and over. If you are a fan of a storyteller singer/songwriter, check out Samuel Herb.
Jerrett Franklin is a singer/songwriter from Loretto, TN. After growing up in a small town, he moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Nashville Music Reviews originated from. Nashville Music Reviews is dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
